Sante Operations is hiring an A/R Specialist - Medical Biller for a shared position. Based in the East Valley, this position splits their work schedule between two buildings (Mesa & Chandler) and reports to the Corporate A/R Manager. The A/R Specialist - Medical Biller is responsible for ensuring that claims are submitted in a timely manner, posting and reconciling insurance and patient payments.

Prepare and manage all primary and secondary billings including; Medicare A, Hospice, Private and Managed Care, via paper or electronic means according to payer specific rules.
Responsible for inputting and maintaining the daily census in Accounts Receivable software.
Maintain all patient accounts including monthly statements and collections.
Communicates with patients, family members, personnel, visitors, government agencies/personnel, etc., under all conditions/circumstances. Handles tense or uncomfortable conversations with grace and professionalism.
Research and resolve EOB rejections and other issues with outstanding accounts.
Post cash receipts and adjustments as needed.
Prepared and completed month-end close.
Facilitate and manage the Monthly Triple Check process.
Input ancillary charges into to AR software.
Communicates with property staff as required to obtain or verify billing information.
Minimum of three (3) years experience in Healthcare Billing Collections required.
Medicare Part A & Part B, Commercial, Medicaid and co-insurance billing required.
Minimum of two (2) year experience billing Medicare A, preferred
Skilled nursing facility (SNF) Billing experience a plus.
Must be a self-starter, organized and detail-oriented. Work well under pressure of deadlines and in diversified work environments. Maintains and displays professional attitude and work ethic.
Able to interpret and implement Medicare and commercial payer guidelines.
Excellent understanding of Medicare A and commercial billing regulations.
Computer literacy with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and general navigation.
Experience with Point Click Care - PCC software a plus, but not required
Local travel between buildings required; Must have reliable transportation and proper insurance.
