Sante Tucson is seeking to hire a Business Development and Marketing Liaison to build census and grow market share. The Liaisons primary function is to help ensure a high occupancy of Sante Tucson by cultivating and growing patient referral volume through the development of relationships with assigned referral hospital personnel, surgeons / physicians and territories.
 



Catalog and maintain CRM records on all relevant contacts and influencers of referrals in an assigned territory (including assigned referral hospitals).  
Educate all targeted contacts in the Liaisons territory about Sante and our patient services.
Visit contacts in person regularly.
As requested the Liaison will assist in the assessment of patient referrals to facilitate the admission process between the discharging hospital and the receiving Sante facility staff.  
Provide education to prospective referral sources, patients and family members on Sante services,
Assist in developing a market plan using data to aid in defining and meeting goals. Participate in special marketing events that may be facility specific or company-wide, such as trade shows, industry events, or vendor fairs.
Initiate and pursue networking activity where synergies may exist with other providers in the post-acute industry such as home health agencies, hospice agencies, and other inpatient providers.
Call on physician offices to educate the physician about Sante services with the goal of obtaining referrals for appropriate patients.
Be available to work weekends as part of rotating schedules to maintain and provide weekend coverage for sales and admissions operations.
Travel to outlying hospitals from time to time for sales & marketing calls to promote awareness of Sante and seek referrals and build relationships.
Provide coverage for another liaisons territory in the event of vacation or recruitment and transition periods.


Minimum of 2 years experience with outside, B2B healthcare sales and marketing. A solid book of business in the Tucson market preferred.
Sales experience in or previous sales exposure with Skilled Nursing Facilities(SNF), Home Health, Hospital, Assisted Living (AL), Independent Living (ILC), Memory Care, and 55+ communities strongly preferred.
Bachelors degree preferred.
Excellent planning, organizational, communication and presentation skills. 
Knowledge of local market trends and matrix. 
Clinical knowledge or experience a plus but not required.
Knowledge of reimbursement systems, managed care and commercial healthcare contracts, and admissions process preferred.
