Sante Scottsdale is seeking a full time Cook for its dining and bistro operations. Our kitchen work environment is mentoring and collaborative. The Culinary Director, Chef Brookstein, has years of experience in catering, food service and training culinarians. As a passionate foodie Chef has updated and expanded the menu to include more fresh ingredients and creative entres. All plates are made-to-order, not hospital hot line service.

Our dining room offers a full-service menu 7 day a week from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. Schedules are flexible and there are no late nights! We offer all full time employees a full benefits package including insurance (medical, dental, vision, disability, pet), PTO, paid holidays and more. We are located in North Scottsdale off the 101 and the Pima/Princess exit.

Reviews recipes and prepares meals in accordance with planned menus and standard preparation techniques. 
Experience in various cooking methods and commercial kitchens is preferred.
Need to have solid knife skills, adhere to and practice stringent food safety and sanitation techniques.
Inspects special diet trays to assure that the correct diet is served to the guest.
Processes diet changes and new diets as received from Nursing Services.
Reviews care plans to assure that current food information is consistent with foods served.
Assists in inventorying and storing in-coming food, supplies, etc., as necessary.

  • Minimum of  6 months food preparation experience. (prefer experience in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related medical facility)
  • Formal culinary training from accredited school, college or training program is a plus.
  • Will require a current Food Handlers Card or ServSav certification OR ability to get credentials soon after hire.
