  Sante Hospice is seeking to hire a Spiritual Care Coordinator. The Spiritual Care Coordinator is responsible for the management of the spiritual care needs of the patients, families and hospice staff. They will also manage the bereavement and volunteer programs to meet regulatory compliance. This role helps provide support to the PRN chaplain staff.   

Ensures that all required mailings be sent out, oversees/assigns needed bereavement assessments and visits by working in conjunction with the nursing and social work team.
Manages the volunteer program including assigning volunteers to patients as appropriate, assisting in on-going training of volunteers, manage volunteer recruitment and prepare required volunteering reports. 
Coordinates the assessment and delivery of grief counseling needs and services (one-to-one, groups, and on-going follow-up) to ensure timely and appropriate services are provide to family/caregivers.
Plans for Bereavement Program development, expansion and refinement through annual evaluation of services.
Provides bereavement support to hospice personnel coping with work related grief through one-to-one counseling, supervision of interns providing one-to-one counseling, and referral to community resources.
Provides bereavement information and referral services to callers from the community.  Expands and maintains community resource list as needed.
Participates in hospice activities such as in-service education, hospice personnel meetings, and relevant committees.

Masters in Divinity or Spiritual Counseling required, 
2-5 years of experience in a Chaplain role required  
Hospice experience preferred.
Dynamic person with huge compassion, ability to work with diverse populations, a passion for working with the volunteer population, and grief experience.
Experience with coaching families/caregivers and patients through death/dying process required
Experience administering and managing volunteer programs.
Knowledge and commitment to hospice philosophy.
Demonstrates good verbal and written communication, computer proficiency and organization skills.
Valid driver's license with maintenance of safe driving record and an automobile that is insured in accordance with state requirements.
