Sante Tucson is seeking PRN Licensed Practical Nurse (LPNs) staff for day and night shifts. All shifts are 12 hours, 3 days a week schedules.
The Sante of Tucson transitional rehabilitation center offering hotel style accommodations, a full service dining restaurant, meditation garden, salon and state-of-the art rehab facilities. Our property is in close proximity to Tucson Medical Center, St. Josephs Hospital and surrounding medical districts.
Sante is a growing healthcare management company with five properties in Arizona providing Acute Care/Transitional Rehabilitation plus Home Health and Hospice for a continuum of care.
The Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) is responsible for providing direct nursing care to the guests, and to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants.
Admit, transfer, and discharge guests as required.
Perform administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, charting, etc., as necessary.
Complete and scan required record keeping forms/charts upon the guests admission, transfer, and/or discharge.
Receive telephone orders from physicians and record on the Physicians Order Form. Enter physicians orders into guest electronic medical record.
Chart nurses notes in an informative and descriptive manner that reflects the care provided to the guest, as well as the guests response to the care.
Report all discrepancies noted concerning physicians orders, diet change, charting error, etc., to the Director of Nursing.
Ensure that appropriate documentation concerning unauthorized discharges is entered in
the guests medical record in accordance with established procedures.
Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician. Verify the identity of the guest before administering the medication/treatment. Ensure that prescribed medication for
one guest is not administered to another.
Order prescribed medications, supplies, and equipment as necessary, and in accordance
with established policies.
