Sante Tucson is seeking Occupational Therapists for PRN "as needed" shifts. Sante Tucson transitional rehabilitation center offers hotel style accommodations, a full service dining restaurant, meditation garden, salon and state-of-the art rehab facilities. Our property is in close proximity to Tucson Medical Center, St. Josephs Hospital and surrounding medical districts.
 
Sante is a moderate sized, growing healthcare management company with five properties in Arizona providing Acute Care/Transitional Rehabilitation plus Home Health and Hospice for a continuum of care. 


The Occupational Therapist is responsible for providing and directing Occupational Therapy services to guests, including assessment, treatment, program planning and implementation, related documentation, communication and functions under physicians orders. 

Provides Occupational Therapy services to guests in a safe and effective manner. Provides treatment in accordance with established standards of practice, and department procedures.
Conduct screenings of guests newly admitted to the facility and referred by nursing to determine need for intervention/treatment.
Evaluates guests to obtain data necessary for treatment planning and implementation. Conducts
specialized evaluations as indicated.
Interprets and communicates evaluation findings to guests, family, and other team members.
Establishes individual guest schedules in conjunction with other team members.


  • Bachelor or Master of Occupational Therapy from an accredited program required; prefer Doctorate.
  • Successful completion of National Certification Examination for Registered Occupational Therapist.
  • Current Licensure as an Occupational Therapist through the Arizona State Board of Occupational Therapy.
  • Experience in home health, skilled nursing or assisted living preferred.
