Sante Mesa is hiring a part time, Valet/Patient Transport Driver. The shift is Monday-Friday with one weekend day. The hours will range from 8-29 per week as needed. The Valet/Driver transports patients, staff or equipment to and from various outside appointments, clinics, nursing facilities or other ancillary locations via building owned van. He/she ensures that our guests are transported to and from our facility in a safe, timely and professional manner. 

Drive company van, transporting guests to and from the building; pick up new admissions from the hospital; coordinate daily transportation schedule with nursing department. 
Assists with patient handling and lifting using appropriate patient safety equipment and appropriate safety procedures.
Assist visitors and guests by parking their vehicles; transportation of personal belongings, suitcases, etc. during the move in and move out process. 
Ensure that all vehicles are maintained in a clean, safe, comfortable, and attractive manner, and properly stored at the end of the shift. Cleaning includes: vacuuming and washing and polishing the interior and exterior of the vehicle.
Maintain transportation logs daily to document mileage and other information for every transport.

Must be able to lift, transport and move patients in to and out of the vehicle on stretchers, wheelchairs or hospital beds.
Must hold a valid driver's license, with a clear driving record and pass Motor Vehicle Report background check.
CPR certification required prior to hire or within 90 days of hire.
Fingerprint Clearance Card through the Arizona Department of Public Safety required
Prefer one (1) year of professional driving experience healthcare environment desirable
Prefer medical training, EMT or Certified Nursing Assistant.
